About Us
We are a team of artists and creatives dedicated to bringing powerful stories to the stage.
OUR VISION
At Picasso in Paris, we believe art has the power to resist oppression, inspire hope, and provoke meaningful conversation. This original musical explores the inner life of Pablo Picasso during the Nazi occupation of Paris, immersing audiences into the most consequential period of the 20th century to reflect on the moral choice of Courage for Peace in times of crisis. Our goal is not only to entertain but to challenge, elevate, and engage with peoples across cultures and generations for the cause of Peace.
THE STORY BEHIND THE SHOW
The Lost Dove is a gouache work executed on a Vichy-era French banknote. It is believed by Sir Kenneth W. Hawkins to be a previously unrecorded work of Pablo Picasso. The Artwork has not been authenticated by the Picasso Administration, the Picasso estate, or any other authoritative body, and no license has been obtained from the Picasso estate. The pursuit of authentication is itself part of the story the franchise tells.

Biographies
Sir Kenneth W. Hawkins · Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Creative Authority · Co-Author (Book); Additional Music and Lyrics
Sir Kenneth W. Hawkins is the originating creative force and ultimate artistic authority of the franchise. A knighted author and former mayor, Sir Kenneth brings a multidisciplinary perspective to the enterprise – spanning computer programming, investment advising, custom home design, and a lifelong commitment to art, history, and cultural peacebuilding. The franchise traces its origin to Sir Kenneth’s 2010 acquisition of works attributed to Pablo Picasso, including the Artwork, and the years-long research journey through art history, the Second World War, and the occupied-Paris art world that followed. That research inspired the Musical, which he co-authored. As CEO and Co-Founder, Sir Kenneth holds final creative authority over artistic decisions, maintains the originating vision of the franchise, and serves as its primary public ambassador. Sir Kenneth owns the Artwork and the Underlying Rights and is an Author of the Musical.

Concept Overview
Why Picasso? Why Now?
Picasso was more than a painter—he was a witness to history. Picasso in Paris tells the story of a man forced to choose between survival and resistance, silence and truth. In an era where censorship, authoritarianism, rising antisemitism, and disinformation are on the rise, this story, his story has never felt more urgent.
From Page to Stage
The rights behind the show
PiP Entertainment, LLC does not own the Musical. The Authors own the copyrights in Picasso in Paris, and the Company holds a license from them. A first-class production must open by December 5, 2030, and rights revert if exploitation ceases for nine consecutive months. Live-stage rights cover the U.S., U.K., Australia, and New Zealand. Audiovisual and immersive rights have not been secured; the Company holds only a right of first negotiation. Image rights in The Lost Dove are licensed by Sir Kenneth W. Hawkins to Hawkins Art Enterprises, LLC, and by HAE to the Company.
Where We Are in Development
Picasso in Paris has a completed book and score and has been presented in table reads in New York and in concert. The next planned stage is a fully professional regional theatrical production (Class M-R). If that production demonstrates commercial viability, the Company contemplates a Broadway production (Class M-B), followed by a touring production (Class M-T). Each stage depends on financing and on definitive agreements, and the Company does not represent that any project will proceed on this sequence or timeline.
